︎ Washtenaw Community College is a public community college in Ann Arbor Charter Township, Michigan. This project is an imagined update to the WCC website’s interface to refresh and expand upon their existing branding standards. As an alumni of Washtenaw Community College, I made a number of design decicions in the execution of this proposed interface that I believe represent the mission of the school.

I wanted to ensure that college’s very diverse student body was reflected on the school’s homepage with the use of bold, high resolution imagery. Additionally, I decided to expand upon the use of the WCC logo by using it’s consisting shapes as an active design element on the homepage. It was important to me that prospective users (students and future students) have an engaging experience with the site. I chose bold uses of color to help elevate and distinguish the site’s content, and make it more accessible and easy to navigate.
