︎ The School of Public Health (SPH) at the University of Michigan has long been at the forefront of innovative teaching and online education. Over the past few years, SPH has been on a mission to rapidly expand the educational offerings of the school, including new online degree programs.
As a visual designer at the School of Public Health, I assisted the instructional services team in creating graphics and slides for video lectures. I used evidence-based, learner-centered design approaches to work with faculty and course teams in the development of new courses and the transformation of existing courses, and to propose graphic design solutions for complex challenges in online, hybrid, and residential learning environments. Below you will see a selection of illustrations, graphics, and data visualizations I made for a variety of online courses, from epidemiolgy to maternal health.
